These answers help you plan a microcement project in Kuwait. The final scope and installation requirements depend on your site and the selected system.
What is microcement?
A decorative finish applied as part of a preparation, coating and protection system. Products with the same general name do not necessarily have the same uses.
Do you supply and install?
Yes. Almusaileem provides supply and installation for projects. Send the site details so we can define the scope.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
We select a system suited to the use after assessing the surface. A shower floor has different requirements from a wall away from direct water.
Does it repair leaks?
The cause of a leak needs separate investigation and repair before finishing. Microcement is not a guarantee for waterproofing or plumbing.
Can it be applied over ceramic tiles?
It may be possible on stable, suitable tiles after the required preparation. Loose tiles and moisture need assessment and treatment first.
Is renovation without demolition guaranteed?
We cannot confirm that before inspection. Some sites need damaged areas removed or additional work.
What does it cost per square metre?
Area, surface condition, details and preparation all affect the quotation. Send photographs, measurements and the intended use.
Why do you need photographs?
They help us understand the layout and visible condition. A photographic assessment is preliminary and may need a site visit.
Which photographs should I send?
Wide views of each area and close-ups of joints, corners, cracks or moisture, together with measurements and the area in Kuwait.
How long does installation take?
Timing depends on preparation, area, application stages and waiting periods. Agree a schedule for your own project.
When can I use the space?
Completion of application can differ from the time water or first cleaning is allowed. Request clear, system-specific timing.
Can microcement be used in a kitchen?
Walls and floors need a suitable system. Food-preparation surfaces and direct heat exposure require separate confirmation.
Can I select a colour on my phone?
Use a photograph as an initial reference. Screens and lighting differ, so discuss the available sample and final appearance before agreement.
Will it look exactly like the reference image?
Hand application, colour, lighting and site details affect the result. Agree realistic expectations clearly.
How should I clean it?
Follow the installed system instructions. Use non-abrasive tools and a suitable cleaner, and check care guidance before trying a new product.
Will it tolerate every cleaner?
Do not assume so. Strong cleaners and descalers may be unsuitable for the protective coat. Ask about the specific product.
What should I do about a stain or scratch?
Photograph it and record when it appeared and which products were used. Contact the installer before heavy scrubbing or attempted repairs.
Must furniture be moved?
Discuss furniture and appliances beforehand and agree moving, access protection and the included work.
What should a quotation include?
Areas, preparation, system, colour, exclusions, timing, permitted use, care instructions and any applicable written warranty terms.
